Kerry Brown
Kerry Brown graduated with distinction in BSc Occupational Therapy from the University of
Cape Town.
Since moving to the UK in 2007, she has specialized in paediatrics, working in both private
practice and the NHS. Fluent in five languages, Kerry is certified in certified in Sensory
Integration, the Newborn Behavioural Observations (NBO) system, and the Assisting Hand
Assessment (AHA), Prechtel General Movement Assessment, and The Bayley's 4
Neurodevelopmental Assessment. Kerry is a member of the World Association for Infant
Mental Health (WAIMH).
Her work focuses on neurology, neurodevelopment and infant care.. Kerry enjoys
presenting at conferences and has written a journal article on her work in PICU and NICU
and recently contributed a textbook chapter on Occupational Therapy in Neurodisability for
paediatric Neurologists.
In her personal life, Kerry is a mother to an energetic toddler and passionate about running,
pilates, horse-riding, surfing and stand-up paddleboarding. Her personal vitality and
dedication mirror the energy and resilience she fosters in the children and families she
supports.
