Laura Moore
Laura studied Occupational Therapy at the University of Liverpool. Since qualifying Laura has worked across a magnitude of different settings both in the NHS and within private practice, including specialist neurodevelopmental clinics, sensory clinics, specialist and mainstream schools/nurseries and within the family home. Alongside private practice Laura also works three days a week on a level 3 neonatal unit.
Laura has experience working with children from birth to 25. Laura has a keen interest in early intervention. However, enjoys supporting children of all ages and has a lot of experience with different diagnosis including autism, attachment disorders, rare neurodevelopmental and neuromotor disabilities, prematurity...as well as many others.
Lauras additional training includes Sensory Intergration (Advanced Practioner), Sensory Attachment (SAI), SOS feeding, Therapeutic listening, Newborn behavioural Observation (NBO), Baby massage, EI-SMART early intervention course for high-risk infants and is a peer supporter for baby wearing.
Laura has a passion for supporting families in the way that they need. Laura believes in a personalised and holstic approach to therapy that fits with what the child needs and is achievable for the family. Laura believes therapy should be fun and playful!
